Johor Bahru’s economy was booming and major developments were taking place in Malaysia’s southernmost state. Commercial buildings were being built and the level of connectivity within the city was improving. Sungai Segget was still the lifeline of all commercial activities in Johor Bahru and very central to its modernisation.
